Olive, Fine Organic Living held a clothing drive that resulted in a shipment of over $10,000 worth of supplies sent to the people in Haiti, desperately in need of these items after the recent earthquake.

Recently, the Wisconsin Chapter of International Interior Design Association awarded Olive’s interior design firm, Retailworks, Inc. of Thiensville, 1st Place in the Retail Division of the 2009 Interior Perspectives/ Celebrate In Design Contest for their innovative sustainability focused design of the store.

In typical Olive fashion, the store held a catered and entertaining event for 23 women in the Mequon Moms ladies group.

The Neroli Institute of Beauty and Wellness held their semi-annual fashion show this season to celebrate Earth Day 2009.

About 15 students and chairperson, Pamm Steffen, visited Olive for about an hour to discuss sustainable building and design practices.
