Satori Movement sees the environmental and socio-economic potential in producing quality, sustainable garments for a world that is continually in need of positive, progressive change.  From a humble beginning, the Satori Movement rooted itself in the skateboard market with a well known team of professional skaters which, to this day, influence the younger generation of skaters to be more conscious of what they buy, consume and support.  Over a decade, Satori has grown and currently designs and produces full lines of apparel and accessories, while bringing sustainable initiatives and innovations into skateboarding. 

Satori remains committed to using sustainable fibers such as Hemp, Bamboo, Organic Cotton and Recycled Polyester whenever possible.  We realize that not all environmental and ethical change within the clohting world is possible immediately, but together we are working towards a better, more sustainable, product with each season, everyday.

HEMP - Still illegal to produce in the U.S., hemp is, by far, the most naturally sustainable fiber.  It grows twice as fast as cotton, can be planted close together for a higher yield and requires less pre-production processing before use.  Hemp has been used for centuries for a variety of everyday products like paper, rope, food and clothing.  As a clothing choice, hemp is ideal.  The fibers dry quickly and are both hypoallergenic and anti-bacterial. making hemp clothing naturally odor resistant.  As well, hemp is less susceptible to damage from salt water, mold, sunlight and chemicals.  The backbone of our clothing production, hemp is clearly the fiber of choice for a sustainable future.
